Celebrate l'Acadie, 11:30 am, Waterford Green. Opening Ceremony, Tintamarre, Acadien music, foood & souvenirs, children's entertainment. In case of rain the event will take place at the Miramichi Civic Centre.

French Fort Cove Adventure Day, 1-3 pm. Events take place in the playground area. There'll be entertainment, family geo-caching, jumping castle, boat rides and lots more. Walk the cove with your family and received a ballot to win prizes! A canteen will be available.

Miramichi's Got Talent All Ages Welcome. Show starts at 2pm at the Amphitheatre on Middle Island. Come show us your talents and win some cash, $100-1st, $60-2nd and $40-3rd. Sponsored by The Middle Island Commission, call 773-7505 to register, or register the day of the event at 1pm.

Dare the Dark for the Headless Nun Adventure every Monday, Wednesday & Friday night throughout July & August. $10/person. The Adventure begins at 9pm.

The public is invited to tour historic St. Paul’s Anglican Church and Cemetery on Water Street (formerly Bushville) each Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm until August 20th. Come try our Air Conditioned Bowling Center. We have 12 bowling lanes to serve you be it Cosmic Bowling, Birthday Parties, Group Bookings, Fundraisers, League or public bowling. Let the good times roll to the music at the Castle Bowling Center!

Miramichi Folksong Festival

Canada’s longest standing folksong festival - Miramichi Folksong Festival , features five days of song and dance with performances by entertainers of all ages. The theme this year is “Music for the Family” and many of the acts are comprised of talented family groups. From traditional Miramichi folksongs to contemporary folk music and dance the festival features entertainers from the Maritimes, Ontario and locally performing at breakfasts, luncheons and concerts.
