The warm summer weather continues this week as we approach the Labour Day long weekend. There's lots going on in the area this month so take a break from the back-to-school routine and enjoy some of these great events.

Carrefour Beausoleil Centre’s Openning and closing hours beginning in September, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m until 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m until 5:00 p.m , Sunday from 9:00 a.m until 5:30 p.m.

The Pink Picnic, 1-5pm, Kenzie’s Tubing Meadow, Sillikers. Rain date Sunday, September 5th. Share your picnic, wear your finest pink apparel in memory of Carlee and contribute towards helping the community establish the first “Carlee Carney Memorial Scholarship”. Sunday, September 19
4 Hours of French Fort Cove, event begins at 11 am, register between 8:30-11:30 am. The 4 Hours of French Fort Cove is back with a vengeance this fall for the fifth time! The 12 Km course is the perfect setting for this family oriented trail bike event. If you haven't entered before this is the year to start, we have always targeted this event to encourage riders who may not have ever considered racing their mountain bike but would like to participate in an event of some sort. Pumpkin Fling
, 10 am – 4:30 pm, Waterford Green. Enjoy a fun-filled fall day at the Annual Pumpkin Fling Contest. Activities include Pumpkin Parade, Gourd pets, Gourd Plinko, Pumpkin Croquet, Pumpkin Coaster Races, Pumpkin Cannons and Pumpkin Painting. There will also be Chili Cook Off, petting zoo, pony rides, and face painting. Trophy and prizes will be awarded for the various contests.
